I have stayed at the Ocean Lodge and liked it a lot--it's nice but also has a casual "beachy" feel to it. I haven't stayed at the Surfsand but having stayed right nearby I think I prefer the quieter location of the Ocean Lodge especially since you'll be there at a busy time.
