3 DAYS AT LAKE TAHOE..THE MUST DO'S????
 

Husband I have only 3 days at Lake Tahoe and would like to make the most of it! Any suggestions that are a must see or do would be appreciated!!

Be sure to visit Emerald Bay, a breathtakingly beautiful place with its own castle and tiny island. The Vikingsholm Castle (actually a 39-room, sod-roof home) was built completely by hand out of native materials. There are tours daily 10-4 through August. Also take a boat tour: either the Tahoe Queen or, if you like sailing, the 40-foot Woodwind, a trimaran departing from Zephyr Cove, Nev.

1 day-Spend one whole day driving around the lake. There are maps available that point out all the places of interest and a visitors center at the begining of the trip.

1 day-Go to Virgina City.

1 day- Explore the immediate area including the tram to the top of Heavenly.

Take a balloon trip over the lake/mountain area. An adventure that starts at sunrise.
