I LIKE Kansas and I'm not even from there--have those of you with the snide comments (attn. Sam) ever even visited Kansas? Careful, your coastal snobbery is showing.

Sorry, Twang, but you've been inhaling the fumes at KU Med a little too long. Kansas is not a BAD place, you're right. But c'mon, I currently live in KC and Kansas is on no one's list of places to visit for a short no restrictions vacation.
BTW, my votes are for SF, Seattle/Vancouver and New England.
Las Vegas is fun and all, but use your ticket for somewhere a little more out of the way or exotic...you can visit LV cheaply from virtually anywhere during non-peak times.
Lots of people on this site love it, but I must vote a big thumbs down on NO...just don't like the grime, urine smell in the streets, drunken sailor atmosphere on Bourbon Street, and I think the food is generally too greasy and overrated.
Charlotte is too whitebread-without-jam to be worth a voucher ticket.
Let us know what you decide.
