25 hours at LAX - Book 2 nights hotel?
 

Arriving LAX from the East coast at 10:00 PM. Flight to SYD the next night at 10:45 PM. Should I book two nights hotel? I don't want to spend 10 hours at the airport, so I thought we'd stash the luggage in a hotel and take a tour. If I use Priceline and arrive late the first night and leave early the second, is that a problem? Thanks.

I would book just the first night. Most hotels will hold your luggage for you for a few hours after checkout. There would be no problem with your not using the hotel overnight on the second night if you had paid for it via priceline, it would just be a very early checkout.

A number of LAX airports have 24-hour service that allows you to stay 24-hours, regardless of when you check-in
