Great idea, Debit. I buy one for my hometown to support my daughter's band. We use them just for a few things normally. However, just a few days ago, I save quite a lot of money on a rental car in DC and didn't even have to prepay. Offer was for two upgrades plus 20 percent off the rate.
I have thought of buying a local edition for New York or DC. If anyone from either city can give me 2-3 things I --an average tourist with family-- must do or buy, I'll go for it.
