2 nights in New England
 
I have 2 nights to spend outside of Boston before going back to Boston for 3 nights and would like a suggestion. I have been to Cape Cod and up to southern Maine. I don't mind driving. Something romantic for my husband and myself, no kids.

try newport, RI. there are lots of bars, restaurants, and sightseeing.

I would recommend North Conway in New Hampshire, Stowe in Vermont and and when I was there I loved Kennebunkport, Maine. Good Luck

Take a look at the website for the Inn at Windham Hill in West Townsend, VT. We've stayed at many inns over the years all over New England and this one is our all time favorite. Peaceful setting, fabulous food.

Rockport is really nice & can take a side trip to Gloucster or Salem
