2-family accommodation on Oahu?

My sister's family and I are in Oahu in March for 10 days. We'd like to have at least a couple of days on a beach in one big unit-- 4 adults, 3 kids (aged 6-10). Ideas?

Mike, we always stay here when we're on Oahu:

http://bestofhawaii.com/villas/walkers.htm

It is a beautiful house right on one of the best beaches in Hawaii, Lanikai Beach. You can rent kayaks and paddle out to two small islands which are bird sanctuaries. It is a very safe beach for kids since it's located on a bay. Generally very uncrowded, suburban area.

Unfortunately, this is a bit last minute and they might be booked but you can ask the agent about other properties. We've always had great luck with this agency. Aloha!

Depends on where you want to stay. My cousins often stay at the Waikiki Sunset or Waikiki Banyan, which includes condo apartments. For a nice B&B, try www.bnb-hawaii.com. I talked to one of the gals on the site recently and she said there are a few more units in town, that are not shown on the site.

You can also check vrbo.com, Vacation Rentals By Owner, which I've always had good luck with, or the classified ads in the back of Hawaii Magazine.

You may get a few ideas from "Hawaii for less" under Joyful Journeys at www.senior-infosite.com

The Entertainment Book for Hawaii may be a worthwhile investment.
