2-days at the Grand Canyon with infant trip suggestions?

My wife and I are in our early mid 30s and are going to the Grand Canyon with our 5 month old son in November for two days and nights.

Can you guys recommend what we should do while we are there? We like hiking and general sight seeing. We will likely have a stroller with us while walking with the baby.

With a stroller you will be able to visit many of the lookout points along the rim.

If you want to hike a little way down into the canyon (below the rim, and highly recommended even if only a mile or so) then you won't be able to use a stroller.

The elevation at the south rim is approximately 7000 ft. You might want to keep this in mind, especially when visiting with an infant. I experienced quite severe altitude sickness while simply walking the paths above the canyon and had to cut my trip short. Being well hydrated is very important for both you and your little one.
