Stu Dudley's itinerary is quite thorough, but if you would like some restaurant suggestions, some I have enjoyed lately are:

Waterbar - pleasing to find a restaurant with good food and a
view
RN74 - delicious, especially if you are a wine-lover
Tipsy Pig - People complain it's noisy, but I wouldn't let
that stop me! Great takes on American classic
cuisine and the cheddar and thyme biscuits with
spiced honey are worth the trip alone!

Serious, read Stu's thread. Is Fodor's book the one that says "If you have 3 days, see" in it? I found that type of info to be a help when setting up the bones of our trips.

I read a book that didn't have that info first and made a list of the things that called out to me. Then hoped for validation in the guidebook list. Often, I missed something because one book didn't emphasize it the same way another did. But, the major stuff is almost always there in the main travel guides. Yes?
