is there really a raining season in Seattle? If so when is it?

"is there really a raining season in Seattle? If so when is it?"

From January 1 to December 31 every year.

Oh no

Actually, Big Russ exaggerates. The t-shirts say "Seattle Rain Festival, October through May."

July and August and the first half of September are reliably dry. June is iffy.

Oh please. Rainy season is more like October thru April. I mean there's always a chance of rain in Seattle but June and July are a good as months as any for a chance of clear sunny weather.

sludick Feb 13th, 2018 09:01 AM

Ahem. In May and June, it's "liquid sunshine."

If your "oh no" means rain is a problem, you might want to reconsider coming to Seattle :-) it's kinda a thing here -haha

I don’t mind rain but I am hoping for a few non rain days. Lol

For historical weather in Seattle go to https://weatherspark.com/y/913/Avera...tes-Year-Round
It has lots of good charts showing historical averages for rain, sun, cloud cover, temperature, etc. for every day throughout the year
