1st Time-25th Wedding Anniversary

My husband and I are planning a trip to Hawaii June, 03. We will use frequent flyer miles, so we have decided to splurge on a hotel. Any suggestions? We want to visit O'ahu and Maui, so how many days are recommended for each island?

You won't get many repsonses to this question. Too vague. It is impossible for anyone to tell YOU how many days to spend on each island. It depends on what you are looking for as each island offers difefrent experiences.

Oahu-luxury hotels include Halekulani, a five star resort and Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

Maui-Ritz-Carlton or Four Seasons.

Many people do 2-3 days in Oahu and a week in Maui. Maui is the most visited of all the islands.

http://www.gosmartravel.com

Maui is not the most visited of all the Hawaiian islands. Oahu is the most visited and Maui is #2.

We are leaving in 6 days for a 9 night stay in Maui for our honeymoon. I will let you know when I return whether that was too little/too many days to be there (I have a feeling "too many days" is not going to be in our vocabulary at that point :)

eko
