12 hr layover in Honolulu looking for hotel for the day
 
I have a grueling trip from the midwest to Sydney with a 12 hour layover in Honolulu from 1pm to 1am making a long trip even longer! Are their any hotels with a nice pool that have day rates?

Try Best Western. I believe there is one near the airport. Even if you have to pay a full one night rate, it should be less than $100.

The Honolulu Airport Hotel is the closest -- and offers a free shuttle. This website lists that one and more:

The Renaissance Ilikai does 1/2 day rates. I did it. Very nice hotel too.
