phariton,
There are many options. Multiple shops slopeside and others a bit further away. Other companies will deliver your rental skis to you!
If you are going to ski all 3 areas, renting at one of the base shops looses it's appeal since you would need to take your skies back to your lodging every night anyway.
If you are only going to ski one area (and why would you do that?), then the slopeside shops will usually let you store your rentals overnight with them, rather than have to go through the turn in/and refit process each day. Nice not to have to schlep them around.
Most shops also have "regular" rentals as well as "demos" - higher end, new skis. They will usually apply 3 days of demo rental toward the purchase of a pair you decide you like.
Check out www.parkcityinfo.com.
Hope this helps.

We rented from the ski shop in our hotel. We stayed at one of the Marriotts. Very convenient because we could drop off the skis every night and then pick them up in the morning and decide which resort we wanted to go to.
