There isn't any mention of luggage. Will you be able to check it in early? or, will you be carrying it around. There are no storage facilties at LAX.

Yes, luggage is an issue. One reason why the rental car or the 24-hr hotel make sense. Traffic may be a problem, but we do not have to be back to the airport until 8:30 p.m. So, a nice day out, refreshing shower, and then onto the plane may be the way to go. Why can't you check in your luggage when you get there rather than haul them around for 11 hours?
