I'll happily shill for Santa Fe and like the Taos area, but isn't there more to the state?

Over half the 100 reasons to love NM are between SF and Taos. They don't even mention Hatch and make one comment about Roswell (which has to be the kitsch capital of the SW).

There are 1000 reasons to love NM; so those 50 + reasons on the list are where the majority of the population lives and where people come to visit. Of our 2 million state population, 50% live in the 3 counties of Santa Fe, Sandoval and Bernalillo. So it figures the list concentrates on those areas.

There is lots more to the state. We enjoyed our time in the south of the state too, though we didn't make it to White Sands, and didn't bother with Roswell.
We enjoyed the blues festival in Silver City and exploring that area too, including a ghost town with a great couple living there as guardians and docenten.
Salinas Pueblos were also really interesting.
New Mexico became a state with a declaration in the plaza of Las Vegas.

So much to see and do there, we barely scratched the surface during our visits.
