Where to go for our Honeymoon (5 nights)

Hello Everyone,

I recently got married and finally having time to plan our Honeymoon. We wanted to go somewhere with beaches and activities to do (golf for the husband) . The catch is we only have 5 nights so we don't want to spend to much time for travel. Currently in CA. Any suggestions?? Thanks

What time of year?

Where are you in CA?

Do you want to drive or fly?

We're looking to go early Nov. We're in Southern CA and would like to fly somewhere. Thanks for any suggestions.

They only have 5 days, bro. Only an idiot would fly halfway across the world for five nights, actually only three once you consider getting there and back.

Go spam your country somewhere else.

Have you considered west coast Mexico - Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Zihautanejo, etc.

If you don't have passports, try Hawaii. DD and SIL went back there for honeymoon months after the wedding. He proposed there.
They said they may go back in a few years.

Hawaii or Mexico. Both offer what you want and are relativesly easy to get to from California.

My wife and I had a great time at Sandals in St. Lucia. There are three resorts there and you can stay at one and play at all three. We stayed at the Grand Lucian, which has the best beaches. There's a shuttle to their other resort which has a golf course.

I just saw that you only have 5 nights total, so I'm thinking Hawaii or Mexico would be best as travel time will be less. I recommend either Maui or Kona on the island of Hawaii. If you do choose Oahu, Ko'olina is a great spot. The JW Marriott is really nice and has golf across the street. Their beach is phenomenal.

Yes, that's in part why I suggested them. It's too short of a time to go to Europe or the Caribbean (imo).

Puerto Vallarta has world-class golf courses, nonstop flights from LAX, beaches and 'activites' galore. Plus excellent restaurants, friendly locals, beautiful setting on the Bay of Banderas. Plus only a 2-3 hr flight.

Cabo San Lucas also has golf and is closer but to me not as beautiful as PV.

Hanalei Bay will be perfect but it’s up to you. Why don’t you arrange to have more than 5 nights? Anyway, it depends on your budget too.
