Travel to Europe

Some friends and I are planning a trip to Europe.

Question: What is the best time of year to go, and, which is the best way to travel to europe? We were thinking of flying to Spain and get on a cruise ship or go through travel tour guide.

Thanks in advance for any great tips you have to offer.

You will likely get more/better answers if you post this question on the Europe forum. Also, Europe is pretty big. If you know of a area or countries that you are interested in visiting, you should include that in your post.

I wouldn't do a cruise or an organized tour either one. You can plan this trip yourself... travel around by train or plane within Europe. Besides Spain what are you interested in seeing? How many people? What kind of budget? How long?

I agree - that's a pretty big chunk of territory you're asking about. You should do a search first on the Europe board because there surely are other discussions on the same topic. There's alot of information out there!

Thanks, for all the responses. We plan to travel to Italy, Venice and Rome for 10 days. There will be 4 couples and a Budget for travel of bout $5000/per person.

Fly into Venice and fly out of Rome. Take the train between. Stay 5 days each place. That's a pretty straight-forward trip, easy to plan and do.
