Travel Insurance for 9 months
looking to go overseas for 9 months travelling Europe and South America. So far haven't found a travel insurance that covers such a long period for a reasonable price. The annual insurances seem to be only for 37 days. Can anyone give me advice please

If you haven't bought your flights yet and want to get at least some of them ahead, contact Airtreks, a consolidator who I've done business with a number of time. They include basic insurance free with your tickets and an upgraded version for a fee.

Where are you based? if in US or Canada check www.insuremytrip.com.
FYI - premiums are based on what type of coverage, amount of coverage and length of stay so for anyone to be of real help you have to define what you mean by "reasonable price" and tell us what type of travel policy you are looking to buy - "trip Cancellation", "Trip Interruption", "Medical Evacuation", a combination of all of the above????

"...airtreks would not be any good to us"
Jacks, are you sure about that? On a recent trip I paid for the first leg with FF miles and the portion I bought from Airtreks started in China. I cannot imagine that they only sell to Americans and if you don't know that it's true I'd contact them through the website and ask. The prices are good and the free insurance a bonus. They even asked if I'd like to be covered by the policy from the time I left home, no charge, not even their flight.
