Enough Connection Time???

Jump to last reply

I'm doing a eurotrip with a friend over the summer. We're using cheap airlines such as ryanair, and although my friend thinks that she can just survive 3 weeks with a carry on, I know I can't limit my baggage to such a small restriction size. The carry on restrictions for these flights are strict and very tiny!

So I think I'm going to pay a bit more and do a carry on just in case ahead of time because you have to pay a lot once you get to the airport. I have a flight from Ibiza back to Barcelona on Aug 15, and on the same day, we're going to Istanbul. We have a 2.5 hr connection time, but I am using 2 different flights. Does this mean once I get to Barcelona, I have to retrieve my checked in bag and then go through the whole security process and everything again? Will I have enough time?
