Where to go for secluded beach vacation
I am trying to plan a surprise trip for my husband's 40th birthday/our 15th wedding anniversary. I desperately want seclusion and romance but with safety and great service. Thinking about the Carribbean or Florida Keys. It is still a few years away so lots of time to plan and save for a dream getaway. Any ideas/tips greatly appreciated.

So far, I have been considering Little Palm Island in the Keys, Rosewood Little Dix Bay in Virgin Gorda and Southern Cross Villa at Palm Island in Grenadines. Again, want very private, beach-front, but with easy access to amenities/dinner, etc.

This board doesn't get much traffic, but I am sure that if you reposted on both the Carribbean board and US board (tagged for Florida), you'll get a lot more responses.
Congrats on your anniversary - I hope that wherever you go, you have a fabulous time. |

But I agree with the suggestion to post on other forums, hardly anyone reads this one. |
What time of year? Laguna Beach, CA has great little coves that are very secluded and nearly empty anytime except summer, and during the week less peopled than weekends.
By service, do you want services on the beach or do you just mean at your hotel (spa services?) |

I think Florida Keys will exact place for Vacation because here, cool ocean breezes escort in the morning, seashore are kissed by the sun, and both sunrise and sunset can be seen dancing along the water's horizon.

Caribbean is a wonderful vacation spot with incredible beauty. It has many small islands that individually provide unlimited number of things to do on your vacation. Anguilla
Bermuda, Harbour Island and Virgin Gorda are some of the popular Caribbean destinations that are visited by a number of tourists every year. |
