Spring - one month in Eastern France (click on my name for the TR)
Fall - one month in the Caucasus (Georgia, Armenia) and one month in the Middle East (Syria - Lebanon - Jordan) (TR in progress at mytimetotravel.wordpress.com )

Top of my wish list is still Central Asia

7 days in Cabo San Lucas Mexico - February
5 days with friends in Oakland/Napa Valley CA - September
10 days in Waikiki - November

List above is both where I went and where I wish I would have gone!

So far for 2010 I have a trip planned to Jamaica next July

Feb- Grand Canyon, Sedona, Flagstaff and Phoenix.

Oct - The Netherlands and Belgium

Dec 09/Jan 09 - Just a little drive. 3500km round trip .. North from Sydney to Gladstone in Queensland, visiting friends & family.

February - a week in Bali, dental work and some purchases for my FF burning trip in

March & April - to Madrid, Granada, Cordoba; Caracas, Margarita Island. Lovely time with Fodorite friend, "Lavici".
New York City & out of town - great fun and wonderful hospitality with another Fodorite friend, "McLaurie". Washington DC on Anzac Day weekend. Very poignant for an Australian - and my Mother's birthday. She'd have been 89.
Spring in Europe, Sth America & the US - heartstoppingly beautiful.

May & June - several trips up the NSW North Coast to Lismore; Brisbane and Gold Coast.

July - Lightning Ridge. Famous opal mining centre in NSW, Scone in the Hunter Valley (Horses & wine).

August - Newcastle, former "steel city" now reinvented as a tourist venue and gateway to the Hunter Valley. Beautiful beaches, very nice re-development of the former wharf areas.

September - Orange in Central West to meet up with Fodorite friends "Mucky" and Mrs. Mucky, old school friend and other country friends.

Nambucca Heads - 4 days R & R - walking, painting, laughing & drinking just enough champagne & red with my cousin.

October - Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Byron Bay & Lismore.

November - Blue Mountains - weekend away with friends in cottages at Werriberri (near Blackheath).

December - Christmas driving again. This time South Coast road to Melbourne & back via Phillip Island.

This year ???

April/May four weeks in Oregon and Washington
August/September 5 days in county Cork
October a few days visiting family in the UK.

I'd have liked to have gone to Tanzania but then I would always like to go to Tanzania;) Pity I can't persuade my husband that he wants to go back there too.

End February we are going to La Palma for a week doing nothing much, walking a bit and reading a bit and drinking a bit, staring out to sea a bit, watching the stars and just enjoying spending time together on one of our favourite islands.
No plans as yet for any other trips. We celebrate 35 years of marriage this year so we should do something to mark that. Tanzania maybe :)?

2009 was a very good year for trips! We visited Dubai, Ethiopia, Egypt, Jordan, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Ukraine, and last but not least, Paris.

June: Baltic Sea Coast of Mecklenburg, Germany
September: Estonia
December: pre-Christmas trip to Dresden and other places in Saxony.

2009 - nowhere!! Well, not overseas. Australia is so far away from everything.... now 2010 is another story!! lol

2009 -

1) RTW from Australia with the following stops - Switzerland-Las Vegas, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Sedona, Colorado and then back to Australia via New Zealand

2) A trip from Western Australia to South Australia (Adelaide, Barossa, Clare Valley, McLaren Vale, Coober Pedy, Flinders Ranges)

3) A trip from Australia to Colorado (Colorado Springs, Denver, Estes Park)

4) A week long road trip within Western Australia - Denmark, Albany, Walpole, Mt Barker

5) A six day trip to Barrow Island, Western Australia for volunteer flatback turtle tagging

2010 -

Colorado, Singapore, Phuket, Melbourne for an Aussie GTG, NW Western Australia (possibly Broome, Monkey Mia, Coral Bay, Kalbarri), SI New Zealand...we hope...

I want to go to FRANCE !!! Once again !!! just like last year !!! Trip to France will be the best for 2010 !! =D
