What to Do On Your Second (Or Third!) Trip to Paris

I am planning a trip to Paris with my family. I want to know how can we enjoy our vacation in Paris. I heard that there’s still plenty more to see and do in the City of Light, but I am not getting the exact information so that i can plan now only. Any suggestions?

If Paris is your favorite destination how come you need to ask? in any case, the place to ask this is the Europe board.

And tell us what you have already visited.

There are dozens of day trips, but there are also dozens of secondary attractions. Still, it's hard without knowing anything about you, what you like, and what you've already seen. And what time of year?

See the things you didn't get to last time? Relax and "do nothing" (i.e. sip a cup of vervaine or a coffee in a cafe while people-watching, savor a long afternoon meal) more? Take a day trip on the train.
I just got back from my 2nd trip. We took a train to Chartres village and cathedral for the afternoon.
We also just strolled leisurely around the neighborhoods more than we did last time.

There is a great thread with a long-long list of suggestions I found the other day that I copied and am using as a second trip guide-I think I searched it by the phrase second trip...it has awesome suggestions and has been around for something like 10 years!
