I'm looking for pick pocket proof pants like they sell at clothingarts.com, but can't find anything in my size. I'm male with a 38" waist and 36" inseam. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Mike |
Money belt instead.

Take similar style pants that fit you to a tailor or seamstress to have them adapted with zippers, inside pockets, etc.

I have used Cragghoppers Kiwis for years. They have two secret zip pockets inside the main pockets and despite several attempts, I have yet to lose anything to pickpockets.

Pickpocket proof pockets can be made out of any pants you happen to like Mike. Simply add Velcro to the pocket. You can sew in the Velcro yourself or have it done for you.
I prefer Velcro over snaps, buttons or zippers because it is in fact the hardest for a pickpocket to get into without you knowing. Try opening Velcro without that telltale sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fbWzv5cbB8 |
Here is a pair of travel pants that comes in 38x36 from Columbia. Velcro pockets and zip pockets.

Thanks for all of your responses. I've ordered 2 pair of Columbia pants and hope they are a good fit. I appreciate all the suggestions.

This is what my husband uses for "deep storage"
http://travelstore.ricksteves.com/ca...tId=124&id=523 He puts some cash and a credit card in his regular pocket for daily needs, but stores additional money, cards, passport (things he won't need to get to) in the hidden pocket. |
