Trafalgar Tours?

I have toured in Europe several times with Globus Tours and have been wonderfully pleased and never disappointed. Having said that, they don't have a tour to France that I would like to take so a friend suggested Trafalgar Tours and I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has used them in the recent past. They do have a France tour with an itinerary that is perfect for what I and my partner are interested in seeing. Any and all feedback would be great! Thanks in advance for your time.

you might want to post this on the Europe forum. no one (hardly) reads or participates here on "Travel Tip" branch.

Trafalgar & Globus are both reputable companies. You can't go wrong with either one. I am looking for 2010 also, & noticed they have some great promotions. www.escortedtrafalgartours.com

I just returned from a Trafalgar Tour of Ireland & Scotland - it was great. I would highly recommend them. Check out their bulletin boards on their website if you have any specific questions.

Having done 3 Globus and one Trafalgar, I would not choose a Trafalgar again. The Trafalgar was an Italy one in Dec. because we took two college aged girls with us as a Christmas present. Everything was "extra" and found it not to be the quality of Globus. You might consider a river cruise. You get a couple of days in Paris, cruise down a river and have a couple of days at the end. We did that and enjoyed it. Paris is so easy to do on your own.

Azangie, if you come back to this, check out Cosmos tours. It's in the same family as Globus, but the cheaper version. They have a couple France tours.

I traveled with them in May 2008 through Great Britain and loved it. Everything was perfectly nice, but not over the top luxury by any means. I don't know your ages but the Cosmos groups tended to be in their 30's-60's and the Globus groups we saw tended to be more 60's-80's. I'm scheduled for a Trafalgar trip in a few weeks and have heard good things about them.

Good luck! :)
