Tips how to save some money

Hey everyone!
I'm still new at this :D Do you have any life hacks how to save some money on accommodation or flight tickets? Or maybe some tips for car rental and other related stuff?

Where are you going? Tips for Mexico or Hawaii are different than tips for Europe. Or SE Asia. Or South America. Or???

Where are you from? And for flights makes a different where it is you are located - in the US, Canada, UK, Europe. Or???

Go off season.

Stay some place reasonably central to avoid extra transportation costs

Be realistic about how many places you visit. It costs money to move from place to place.

Scott's cheap flights have found us two trips to Paris, one was around 500 and last year we went for under 300 rt. We book apartments. Eat breakfast in. Buy a bottle of wine to enjoy with late night snacks. We stay for three nights or longer in one location. Do public transportation, day tours and read blogs on each city. I have a blog on how to eat in Dublin for under ten euro for lunch.
