Thanks for the details. I'm OK with the pricing. I just want to figure out what will work best for me. This is all about silence (cancelling background noise) not about listening to anything :-)

Suze - I live in a noisy place. Sound bounces around and is exaggerated. The small airport nearby has been reactivated (wasn't when we bought the house). I'm going crazy. These ear buds help tremendously even when not listening to music, books, TV. The ear piece is comfy. My daughter wears hers at her desk at work.

I'm convinced! Thanks all. I'm traveling Sunday so don't have time to get it organized before this trip (and will limp along with a couple kinds of ear plugs). But definitely will pursue before my next, next trip. I appreciate the help.
