Suggestions?
 

Hi there! I'm a single parent & looking to "get away". Any advice or suggestions appreciated. Looking for something relaxing, by a beach, maybe a spa and some shopping. Not looking for nightlife or a party atmosphere. I would be flying out of Boston. Only have about 4 nights in Feb. A budget about $1500. Thanks!

Welcome to Fodors - are you looking for places in the States, or Mexico, or the Caribbean - or does it matter? Also - airfare will eat up a pretty large chunk of your budget. Is this trip just for you or are you taking your child/children?

If you know want to go to a specific country/region - or are even leaning toward one - then it would be better to post on that specific forum (USA, or Caribbean, or Mexico.Central America)

You can fly to Reykjavik for $550-ish.

4 nights at the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura which has a spa and airport shuttle and a pool is as low as $90/night.

Of course, my suggestion focuses more on the spa than beach ;)

Well the easy answer is Florida. You've given no criteria that would limit the choice in any way other than budget.

Wow, I forgot I had posted in here and found in my email that I had a few responses. I am going to go to Miami for 4 nights. I took my kids to disney back in May, so this is for me only. Thanks for the advice.
