South Italy Trip Ideas
Hi,
I'm looking to visit Italy for 2 weeks, a couple, In the beginning of June without renting a car. I am arriving Naples first and finish in Rome. First I want to stay there for few nights. Just to inform, I am a lazy traveler, like see places deeply. From Naples I want to move my base to Sorrento and Amalfi coast for few days but I don't know exactly how many(again, without car). In this part I have a hole of 3-4 days depend on how much time I'm visiting the Amalfi coast. Of course in Rome I'll be for few days also. My dilema is, if to stay in the Amalfi coast for the whole week(which is expensive) or maybe travel Ischia for few days, or if you have any Idea for touring different part of south Italy that can easily be accessed by train can also be an option. Thank you for your help! |
Welcome to Fodors. You will get more replies if you post this on the Europe board.
I would think you have left it a bit late to book for the AC in June. |
You can take ferries up and down the AC, a wonderful way to see the beauty of such a landscape and Positano practically hanging on the cliffs.
To save on expenses, rent an apartment. |
Thank you for your responses!
I will try to rewrite it and post it on the right place. |
Before you leave this thread I want to recommend Positano as a destination, that place is like heaven

This thread is from April for a trip in June. No doubt the OP has left the country, never mind the thread.
