Sim Card Advice
I am planning a trip to England and France. I will be in England for 1 week and France for 2 weeks. I’m trying to decide whether to go with the Verizon Global Plan for my iPhone 6 or to get an international sim card when I get there. I know it would be cheaper to go the local sim card route. Can anyone recommend a reliable company that offers a sim card that would work in these 2 countries? And how difficult would it to be to set it up? I am a little concerned about the language barrier if I were to need customer service for a local plan when in France.

There are many reliable options (and you won't have a language barrier). I suggest you re-post on the Europe Forum where this sort of thing is discussed pretty regularly. I used the Verizon Global Plan one trip (but ended up not using the phone once since everywhere I visited had free wifi which I used w/ my iPad mini and I just didn't need to make any calls) |
I have used the T-Mobile plan which gives unlimited low speed data, unlimited text and 20 cent/minute calls in 120 countries. You can buy it for a month and then cancel when you get back.

I am also planing to make a trip in England and that's why this post and here all the discussions are very helpful for me though. Thanks

GarryArthur: I suggest you look at the OP's other thread http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...e-549481-2.cfm
he re-posted on the Europe forum and had more responses there . . . |
Thanks Janisj for sharing this post link that is really handy for me.
