I tore an ad our of our paper today for a luggage sale at Macy's. It is 50% off the Samsonite Silhouette 10, Travelpro Crew 6, Delsey Helium Fusion and a few others. Plus, you get a $50 gift card when you purchase. So I am toying with it.
I love my old Skyway stuff...very durable, beat to heck already, and I am a pro at packing with it. But it is always fun to consider new, lol!

Thanks Mcnyc! My thought is that it would give me 2-3 more days on vacation rather than sitting at home staring at my beautiful new carry on bag.
The best time to buy luggage is in January. JCPenney usually has good sales on their sets around that time.

Toed, I go to TJ Maxx for my luggage, which I've found to have good name brand luggage for relatively cheap.
But that doesn't mean I don't look at nice luggage like the one Scarlett posted! I still breathe, and I'm a sucker for nice bags.

I know. There's an Eddie Bauer carry on that I drooled over before the holidays. It had all sorts of compartments and had a little daybag that zipped off it. There was one at Ross for $20, but the main zipper was messed up. When I looked at prices elsewhere, I didn't do it. I kept telling myself I'd never use the daybag anyway (I don't really wear backpacks unless I'm hiking) - but I still think fondly of that little bag.
