My wife and I have been blessed with some free time in early September to take a vacation. Anyone have any ideas? We are beach people at heart but hurricane season looms... Any destinations favored by the month of September? We enjoy a last minute flee to experience local culture and beautiful scenery, all mixed in with some overdue relaxation. Thanks!

You have provided insufficient information. Where do you live and how far are you willing to travel? What is your budget?

Thanks thursdaysd. We're traveling from SE America, with $5k as a budget for a weekish. Distance dependent upon budget. Not a fan of deserts, huge crowds, or too touristy areas, would not prefer all inclusives either.

Correct (well I don't think hurricanes happen "almost weekly" but)...
