september beach vacation
 

I am planning my honeymoon and i have some problems.We want a beach honeymoon and i have to find out which is the best time to visit tahiti-bora bora.Or if somebody has another recomandation for september.Cancun,Acapulco or Maldive,Mauritius or Anguilla,Barbados?
Is any of this destinations recomended in september?

My husband and I had the same dilemma. We were married last September 9th and wanted a beach honeymoon...but we were worried about a hurricane. We ended up going to the amalfi coast in Italy. We stayed in Ravello and Positano. We loved it so much we are going back for our first anniversary. My other suggestion is Greece. We almost went to Crete and Santorini...and one day plan to go. A hotel called Katikies looks fabulous. One other place we considered was Bali but decided against it because of terrorist attacks. It looked so stunning though.

I got married in Moorea, Tahiti on a beach in September and it was perfect weather with very little rain expect a brief shower in the afternoon if that..
The Sofitel Ia Ora Moorea has a chapel on the beach and the best beach in Tahiti..
Cancun/Acapulco is still hurricane season as well as the Caribbean..
I have heard wonderful things about Mauritius and Maldive but do not know how it is for September..

Thanks for your reply.I looked at the web site's from nui hotel bora bora and sheraton in moorea and they look just great.What do you think about my options?The only problem is that we need a US visa to get to bora bora.I am from Romania and i have a visa but it expires in october and my future husband doesn't have.I hope this won't be a problem.thank you!

we went to Bora Bora, Moorea and Tahiti in July 2002 and it was fantastic! Definitely go to Bora Bora- it is a beautiful place and if you are going all the way there it is worth it to see. At the time we stayed 1 night at Le Meridien Tahiti OWB, 4 nights Le Meridien Bora Bora OWB, and 4 nights Sheraton Moorea OWB. Amazing honeymoon!

I was married this past year. My husband and I went on a cruise to Bermuda. The weather was nice and the islands were beautiful. Plus tons of great beaches.
