My question is about travel security, I have already sent it to the US security but did not yet get a response, and my flight is in less than 2 weeks!
My son Adult has built pens using parts that look like Bullets, and he would like to offer some to my Father by taking them with me when I go visit soon. My Father had seen pictures and has shown an interest in getting some. But I don't know how to handle the security check point, should I carry them in a plastic bag and show it to the technician? because my bag going through Xrays might confuse the control person ! and I am affraid they will get confiscated...
They are expensive pen, I really don't want to put them in my check luggage, they will disappear probably!

Why don't you mail them?

If the pens are actually made from bullets, then you will have no choice but to put them into checked luggage or mail them.

If they just "look" like bullets but are not made from actual bullets, then they should be placed in carry-on luggage and brought out for inspection. There will be absolutely no problem, but your son may have to go through a detailed secondary security check.

Of the three options you have, mailing is by far the easiest, and if they aren't heavy, it's the least burdensome.

I also would mail them on ahead.
