Romantic trip for my boyfriend and myself
 

I've been looking into going on a sun holiday in june with my boyfriend...I'm from ireland and would love somewhere quiet and romantic..preferably an island somewhere close to europe or that general region. I don't want somewhere with a lively nightlife,I'm more interested in gorgeous beaches and accommodation,but close to a town where we could go to eat and have a few drinks.

Ha i know I'm kinda specific but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,I'm open to new ideas.

All of the main (and smaller) islands in the Med have quieter areas that are away from the boozing and crowds.

Have a look at Northern Mallorca, in Pollenca, Deia or Alcudia areas. Flights are cheap and you'll be surprised by the contrast to the Magaluf, Palma Nova area.

There are lots of good, inexpensive hotels that offer high standards of rooms and food. Try the www.hotelsonsantjordi.com in Pollenca
