Yeah unlike MOI, who overpacks and does not wear. many of the clothes I bring along. I have an "aspirant image" of what I want to wear, but I inevitably resort to the easiest, most casual things instead of that nice dress that I was saving to bring to Spain/Italy, etc..

Of course I check. I completely overpack.

In January I am taking my mink and my long wool coats with me to Paris.

My carry on also holds enough clothes for a couple of days if my checked bag gets lost.

Knock wood that we are usually able to fly direct from Miami to Europe.

I don't own a dress -lol- solves that problem :-)

Ha..I OWN dresses, but do not wear them. They look nice hanging (cluttering up) in my closet!!!!

I own lots of dresses, particularly summer ones and I wear them. In fact when it's really hot that is what I prefer to wear. I am ruthless at clearing out what I don't wear from my closets for the most part, although now I have a bunch of my mom's beautiful old clothes since I have been clearing out her house.
