Reputable Visa Agencies?

In looking into companies that can secure our visas for travel to China, I came across some horror stories about certain companies and their poor service. So I was hoping to provide a place where fodorites can share experiences they've had, good and bad, with these agencies. Hopefully more good than bad! Please leave details about cost, time and ease of navigation.

You'll do much MUCH better if you post this on the Asia Forum. Very few Fodorite Asia experts will see your question on this board.

I'm not asking for advice. I'm wondering what sort of experiences people have had when getting their visas through an agency. Just a discussion topic . . .

That's fine - but even if you just want a general 'discussion' of agencies for China/Asia visas . . . you will get MUCH more/wider response over on the Asia board.

Take a look at the activity here and compare it to Asia . . . your choice but just sayin'

(If you had posted there originally you'd probably have 6 or 7 knowledgeable replies from people w/ actual experiences by now)

I have used Travisa and CIBT successfully, although I prefer the DIY method.

I just used Travisa for an Indian visa and was very pleased with promptness--passport back in one week which included an Indian holiday (Gandhi's birthday).
