Problems with Vanere as booking agent

I am advising against using Vanere to book reservations. I first contacted them in July to book a hotel in Turin and never received a written confirmation of the booking. Since then, I have called them five times, and each time they promised me they would send a confirmation but, in fact, never did. Finally, I contacted the hotel directly, and they immediately sent me the confirmation. I discovered that Vanere had booked me for only three nights when I had specified four.
In short, I would not book through Vanere. They promised but did not deliver.

Do you mean venere.com? Never heard of Vanere. I've never had problems with venere and will continue to use them.

Sorry, yes I mean Venere. Was told that if I sent them an email to customer service I would surely receive a return confirmation. I did, but no return. This has been a five month problem. I will never use Venere again.

Book a lot with www.venere.com they always EM

your confirmation for you to check

with instructions that anything you need in writing

comes from the hotel.

That is they way all these discount sites work.

You are responsible for getting anything else in writing.

Venere is fine for me nothing but good experiences.

I've used Venere.com in Italy. Confirmation emails and SMS received within a minute or two.

No problems.
