Stonehenge. I was in awe. I would have been back to see it a second time in May if there had not been a pandemic.

Disney World. I went with my grandkids. It was a lot of money, but I am glad I saw it through their eyes. It is one of my favorite memories. I can understand why people don't like it, there are valid reasons. To me, at the time, it was absolutely perfect.

Las Vegas. I've been three times and I don't gamble. I have seen some fabulous shows there. I have eaten some amazing food. I have walked blisters in my feet there. I've danced in the street. I've had fun. It is a very cheap flight from my home airport, it was a good place for a weekend. Not sure I could have spent a lot more time there.

Switzerland. It was wonderland to me. I am still amazed I actually was there and hiked in the Alps.

Singapore. Loved it though some say its too urban. To me its clean, efficient, beautiful architecture.
Kuala Lumpur. We found it to be easy on the eyes, had great food and very easy on the $$.

Not doa yet.
Macross, Our trips to Gibraltar have all been from Rota. It’s a nice base to see that part of Spain and Rota town has interest too.

Florida, another couple who hiked the ridge. I knew there is something very special about you guys. It must have been one heck of a honeymoon.

Come to think of it, someone should start a honeymoon thread if it hasn’t yet been done.

1) Overnight train travel ( I especially liked our overnight train in Egypt along the Nile River)
2) Cinque Terre. The views and hikes are extraordinarily beautiful and with careful planning one can avoid the crowds. Ditto for Santorini.
3)One night stays along an itinerary. As I rule I usually avoid them, but sometimes it works in the overall planning. And I strongly prefer to relocate instead of having one base if it means that I will spend a beautiful morning and evening in a location I really want to be.
4) Singapore
5) Vienna
