Passport Renewal FYI
 

Fodor's folks have written that one's passport shouldn't expire within 3 months of one's travel. My passport expires in June 2023 so I decided to ask the p.o. person how far in advance to get it renewed for possible March or April 2023 trip. She adamantly suggested 6 months in advance. She said much is delayed.

So FYI and please confirm or clarify.

I'm not going anywhere :-) but mine expires in September this year. So I'll report back. Never heard of it taking 6 months before!
