Nice, France
 

My husband and I will be in Nice the last week in October for 5 days .We'll have a rental car.
What are YOURS favorite places to visit? Any suggestion are welcome. We're willing to drive 2 or 3 hours from Nice.

To visit by bus, train or car: Cap Ferrat, Antibes, St.Paul de Vence, Vence, Grasse.

We stayed in Nice for three nights. Took the city bus to the Jardin Rothschild, and walked from there down the hill to St Jean Cap Ferrat. Caught the city bus to return to Nice. It was a nice, leisurely afternoon.

Another day, we took the train to Antibes, which we liked a lot.

Its a nice place.

When we went, we planned on doing a few day trips. However, there was one of those famous French strikes going on and we didn't have a car so we spent our whole trip in Nice. That being said, you could easily do a week in Nice if you're up for it.
