Mountain Honeymoon Destination

My fiance and I are getting married on November 21st and will be honeymooning right afterwards. We would like to have a "mountain getaway" in a somewhat secluded cabin. We would like for the trip to be around 7-10 days. Our budget is $7500. We had originally planned on visiting Argentina, but due to airfare was over budget. We enjoy outdoor activities, good food/wine, and a relaxing environment. We are not opposed to staying within the U.S. at all. Lastly, we are not trying to make this a ski vacation at all. Please help!! Thank you

I'd probably pick Colorado in the US, you can find some of the best resorts here: http://www.tripadvisor.com/HotelsLis...s-zfp4326.html

I also have a couple of friends who spent their honeymoon in Banff and were very happy with it.

Devil's Thumb Ranch, Colorado

It has cross-country ski trails, but there's so much more also: spa, two very good restaurants, a pool, hiking, awesome lodging and service. You could get a cabin for two.
