I don't think I would especially go to another country to get medical or dental. Maybe in the future when I would really need something and it's not covered. When it makes sense to take the risk.

When my son was living in Hong Kong he told me hearing aids were far cheaper there, and my savings would probably cover the cost of airfare. I tried looking into it but couldn’t find much information so abandoned the idea. I’m Canadian and have a good insurance plan to supplement our government plan so going out of country for something covered at home makes no sense. Plus my travel insurance does not cover travel for non-emergencey medical procedures.
