Laundry in Argentina?

If we plan to travel lightly, what do we do about laundry? Gone for 2 weeks???

I hand wash and drip dry all my clothes - they don't go if they can't handle it.

clove, I'd also ask your question over on the South America forum. Lots more people read there.

As above, I also can do 2 weeks just by doing rinse-outs in the hotel sink. I carry a couple plastic hangers to make it easier.

I've never been to Argentina, but will guess there are also drop-off laundry services if you are in cities/towns (not the countryside). I know there are in Mexico.

Check with your hotel. They can recommend a laundry/dry cleaners near the hotel. One time in Amsterdam, we had already been traveling for 2 weeks and had another 10 days to go so the hotel recommended a laundry that did it all - folded our clothes too. That is very helpful because some times waiting for your laudnry to wash and dry takes up valuable time. We generally rinse out but jeans, etc need to be laundered.

We traveled in Argentina and Chile for three weeks with carry ons. There were more lavanderias than I have ever seen while traveling abroad. You drop your laundry off in the morning and pick it up later that afternoon, wash/dry/fold..About $10.00 per bag.
