23 for me, the US avg. is 24.
|
I got a 12. Still not good though.
|
I got a 12.
I guess I finally get points for a small house and for driving DS to work every day! |
Big. Really big.
|
So is this quiz supposed to make me feel guilty for living in a house with electricity?
|
I got a 12 = 2.7 planets. The average for the US is 24. My meat and dairy eating tendencies did me in. As if the veggie burger processing plant is more eco friendly than than the Hudson Valley chicken sausage I bought from a farmer in Union Square last weekend. Big saves on squeezing 2 people into a 500 sq. foot apartment!

I suck! I got a 22!
|
I got an 11. But..I'm not giving up electricity and running water!
|
Yikes!!! Don't like my large number at all! We don't have a farmer's market like San Francisco so can't get fresh products or meat from here; nor do we have efficient public transportation (hardly any really). Not many hear care about the energy crisis. "Shrub" would really like my score! ((N))

I got a 36...and I answered honestly about everything. They say the US average is 24
Luckily people in Africa with zero footprint are ofsetting my suburban NJ lifestyle. I find this skewed. There's really almost no way to realistically reduce my footprint here without taking in tenants, or ceasing to travel, do my job or consume food. I'd have to be a self sufficient farmer doing all the work by hand and never leave home to achieve a low number here. And I do consider myself to not be wasteful & unkind to my environment. I've recycled since I was a child, we compost, we have very little garbage to put out typically. But I drive a car and I take planes often... What's a girl to do? :( |
In January when DS returns to school my score will go up by quite a bit.
Does that mean he should not finish college? I don't see how that will help anyone! |
Just my luck!
I finally find something that is smaller than my b*ttprint and even then it's too big! <sigh> We try, we really do try.... Debi |
I got a 22 despite living in a 700sq foot apartment and not owning a car. I don't know if one gets dinged for living in a large city that gets cold in the winter or not, but my shelter score was my highest (tied with my goods and services).
Sadly, so be it. I'm not giving up electricity or heat, not with our winters. |
