Hi There!! My fiancee and I are a year away from getting married and we are looking into ideas for our honeymoon. We are open to possibilities but were immediately drawn to the feel of indonesia/thailand. The only problem is how much the plane tickets cost! It's not ruled out entirely but we need to open up our search for something a little more budget friendly. Here's what we want: adventures, a beach, spa options, good weather, and good food. Literally ANY suggestions are welcome. Thanks!!

Where do you live so we can determine how far you might trave. You won't be in Australia where I am in July or August.. too cold! Brr

I would say Thailand before Indonesia. There are lots of romantic honeymoon type resorts in Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, Phuket and then some city viewing in Bangkok.

Yes it helps us to know where you are starting from to make a reasonable suggestion (as far as plane ticket prices).

Normally I'd suggest the Caribbean, Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, but July and August really aren't good weather-wise any of those places (rainy season, hot and humid).
