Your criteria can be found all over the world. Do you have a preference for any specific region/country? Where are you traveling from and what time of year?

oops -- now I see January in your title.

Your best beach weather would probably be in the Caribbean, parts of Mexico, Hawaii and in the Southern Hemisphere.

Where would be best depends in large part on where you are traveling from and the available airfares.

(budget; 6-7K) - and what currency would that be? US Dollars, Sterling, Euros?
Including or excluding airfares?

the budget is on USD.

basically i am thinking about Guatemala - Mexico

the question is is it doable in 3 weeks.

keep in mind that this is a honey moon - and i don't want to to be 'running' all the time from place to place..

How about Thailand? It offers beautiful beaches, luxury hotels, ... and great nature as well. Furthermore, everything is quite cheap there, too.

>>basically i am thinking about Guatemala - Mexico<<

Since you have narrowed down your ideas a bit you should post on the Mexico/Central America forum (Use the 'Change Forum' pull down menu). There are lots of threads about both mexico and Guatemala and many more Fodorites will see your question there.

(and if Thailand interests you -- you could post on the Asia Forum)
