HONEYMOON HELP!

Hello.
We are trying to plan a honeymoon that will be fun and not overly expensive. Of course romantic.
We would love some activities. We were thinking Costa Rica, but the overnights in LAX are not my idea of fun. I want to avoid Hawaii and Mexico.
We are open to suggestions in regards to location and lodging.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

It is impossible to answer this from the info given.

"Not overly expensive" is useless - one man's expensive is another man's low end. Actual numbers would help.

Where are you starting from? I don't have to go through LAX to get to Costa Rica...

Do you want beach, mountains, cities? Museums? Hiking? Snorkeling? Are you foodies?

What other trips have you done and why did you like/not like them?

We would like to spend $3,000 not including air fare.

I appreciate the help, but please try not to be so abrasive.

"Abrasive"??? wow that's certainly not how I read it.

I think those are all very important question. Without knowing, it's impossible to even begin to try and give you good suggestions.

For instance, I would also have to ask "how long is the trip?" to know if the $3000 budget would cover my ideas.

How about the Caribbean?

I guess we lost Sheila

Maybe she's considering her answers? I note these were her only posts and I wonder why Costa Rica but not Mexico or Hawaii? Turns out you can fly Denver to San Jose without going through LAX, too.

Sad to lose a new poster we could have given lots of good ideas to. Hope she finds other resources she is more comfortable wtih.
