Heads up: Another scam to obtain your credit card information
This was reported by our local television consumer reporter. I'm not usually alarmist, and I am sometimes skeptical when I see the word "scam", but this one may be real:

Betsy - I don't doubt your link is useful. But I make a practice of NEVER clicking on a link unless I can see the URL or know what the website is.
I use tinyurl too - but when posting one I'll give some hint of where it leads . . . |
Maybe the link is a scam to get my credit card information :-)

For most, common sense would avoid a scam of this type.
If there was any problem with your "credit card information", it would have been detected at check-in when it was scanned. Otherwise, who would give ANYONE such information on the phone. If I got a call like that, I'd return to the front desk. |

Thanks for posting this. I can see how this may work. Sometimes if you're tired, just off of a long flight, common sense is already taking a nap.
How ofter do we see people doing silly things, like leaving purses in shopping carts while common sense is in the next aisle? |
