Hawaii/Japan Honeymoon
 

My fiance and I are spending a week each on Kauai and then Tokyo (with maybe a day or two in Osaka) for our honeymoon April '08.

Firstly, kauai will have beach weather then, right? I went to Oahu in March and was gorgeous, but I keep reading about rainy season and cold nights.

Second, anything not to miss specifically on a honeymoon? We plan to do the typical adventure stuff in Kauai and want to do a catamaran sunset cruise, but looking for anything more specific. Also am interested in renting our own catamaran for just a couple of hours at sunset with cocktails, but not sure where or how to do this. For info, we are staying at the Grand Hyatt.

As for Japan, neither of us have ever been, so hoping this will be the fast-paced urban experience to balance Hawaii. Staying at the Peninsula here (although still holding a res at the Four Seasons Chinzan-So which is cheaper but further away, will likely cancel). Again, anything critical not to miss?
