Hello,
I wold like to spend a week in Hawaii with my children and grand children (3 and 6 year old) Any suggestion where to stay and what to do? Planning for second week in August; how soon we need to do the booking for hotel and air?

I agree with janisj's suggestion. Please read and post over on the United States forum, tagged Hawaii. That's where all the Hawaii info is.

It would help if you know which island you're going to visit. We visited Maui last year with 9 kids and they all had a blast! All the beaches in Maui are easily accessible.
